Buying a home

A buyer’s agent who tells you what they see.

Good bones or a money pit, the right price or a stretch: you’ll hear it from us before you make an offer. Then we negotiate from real numbers and handle everything until the keys are yours.

How it works

Five steps to your front door

  1. Consultation

A 45-minute conversation about what you need, what you can spend and where. No obligation, and no pressure to start touring.

  2. Get ready

We introduce you to local lenders for pre-approval and set up searches that send you the right homes the day they list.

  3. Tour and compare

We tour with you, and tell you what we see: the roof, the windows, the street, the comparable sales.

  4. Offer and negotiate

We price your offer from real sales data and write terms that protect you, then negotiate inspections and repairs.

  5. Close and move in

We coordinate the inspector, appraiser, lender and title company, and walk the house with you before you sign.

About the buyer agreement

Before we tour homes together, you’ll sign a written agreement that says what we’ll do for you and how we’re paid. It’s short, and we go through it line by line at the consultation, so there are no surprises later.

Bedrooms, a garden, a short walk to work, a price you want to stay under. Whatever matters most.

No obligation, and nothing to sign at this stage. We reply within [RESPONSE TIME]. See our privacy policy.

Questions buyers ask

Do I need to be pre-approved before we meet?

No. The consultation is a good time to talk about it, and we can introduce you to local lenders afterwards.

How does a buyer’s agent get paid?

[BUYER AGENCY COMPENSATION: how it’s agreed and who pays, in line with the written buyer agreement]

Do I have to sign anything?

Before we tour homes together you’ll sign a written buyer agreement that sets out what we’ll do and how we’re paid. We go through it with you line by line at the consultation.

Can you help me buy a home that isn’t one of your listings?

Yes, most of our buyers buy homes listed by other agents. We can show you any home on the MLS.
